IND Modbus RTU
RFID IND Modbus is a series of industrial RFID readers fitted into a IP65 rated enclosure. The readers are equipped with RS485 port (ModbusRTU), a USB port (intended for configuration), two digital inputs and two relay outputs. Individual standards are supported depending on the device version., RFID IND Modbus is a great all around RFID reader writer

The programming of the reader functions takes place in a application shown below


The outputs can be set to operate in following modes: 
  • bistable, 
  • astable or 
  • temporary modes. 
Working time can be precisely defined up to 0.1 seconds.

The operating mode of the signaling LEDs and the buzzer can also be individually programmed. Regardless of the configuration program settings, signaling control can be carried out via the Modbus RTU protocol.

BaudRate can be selected from the 8 available (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200).

The reader supports the following MODBUS RTU functions:

  • 0x01 Read Coils
  • 0x03 Read Holding Register
  • 0x05 Write Single Coil
  • 0x06 Write Single Register
  • 0x0F Write Multiple Coils
  • 0x10 Write Multiple Registers

The device is fitted with a sealed IP65 housing.

There is no hole in the housing for cable entry. To ensure tightness, it is necessary to drill it and apply a suitable cable gland.
