RFID USB DESK ICODE
The RFID USB DESK DESK iCode reader functions as a keyboard emulator or a virtual serial port, working on the basis of HID and CDC classes. It reads tags in the 13.56MHz iCode standard.Communication with PC takes place via a USB port.The reader is enclosed in a small, ergonomic housing. The device is equipped with 3 LEDs and multi-tone buzzer wich indicate powering and tag reading.

 
CONFIGURATION OF THE READER

THE FORMAT OF THE READ CODE
As in the other versions of USB RFID series readers, there are 3 formats of the read code:

  • Binary
  • Decimal
  • Hexadecimal
ADJUSTING THE FORMAT OF THE CODE

The user, depending on the needs, can modify the appearance and functionality of the read code by:

  • adding Prefix (np.: \r, \n, \t, \x0d)
  • adding Postfix (np.: \r, \n, \t, \x0d)
  • shortening the length of read bytes (AND)
  • adding zero bytes to the code (PADDING)
  • code reversal (SWAP)
CODE READING DELAY
Thanks to the use of the Read Delay function, the user can define whether the code should be read immediately after the tag is put in the antenna’s coverage field (No delay),whether it should take place with a certain delay. It is also possible to apply the blockade of duplicate reading of the same code by selecting the Only new tag option.

INTEGRATION
Using the mode of the reader as a virtual serial port it is possible to integrate it with the user’s own software.In this mode, any control of the diodes and the sound generator is possible.

USING THE READER
Similarly to other readers from the RFID USB series, the device can be used to log in to a specific computer program, to identify clients in various service points, rental companies, gyms, beauty salons, etc.
